Adoptive Parent/Toddler Playgroups

Meet and connect with other adoptive parents in the community

Who: Adoptive parents with children ages 0-4

When: June 8 through August 24, 2012, Friday mornings from 10:00 - 11:30am 

Where: Sunny Ridge Family Center, 270 Remington Blvd, Suite C, Bolingbrook, IL

Fee: $35 includes all four June sessions; $10 for single session

Why: Meet and connect with other adoptive parents in the community! Share ideas and parenting strategies, discuss and share helpful books, social media sites, and articles regarding adoption and parenting issues. Come be part of a casual group who won't care if you have to put a conversation on hold to go change a diaper or address a toddler’s tantrum!

The 3rd Friday of each month will include a special activity such as a craft or art project, special music or speaker/topic.

Facilitated by Pam Shepard, LCSW, Supervisor of Parent Training and Adoption Counseling Services and mom of 2 toddlers. Space is limited, so sign up now for this unique opportunity!
