Spring Fashion Show Benefit A Great Success!
 The Sunny Ridge family gathered on Saturday, April 12, 2008, at the Abbington Banquets for our annual Spring Fashion Show Benefit for Birth Parent Services. Special guest Susan Carlson from CBS 2 Chicago served as emcee for our fashion show, as guests enjoyed silent auction, great shopping, lunch, and a delightful fashion show. This year's fundraiser netted close to $20,000 for our Birth Parent Services program! Special thanks to Susan Carlson, an amazing volunteer committee, and our wonderful models! To the many moms, daughters, sisters, grandparents, relatives and families who attended this year's Fashion Show — thank you for your generous support! Your contributions will greatly help Sunny Ridge and those we serve. |

China Adoption Program News
Sunny Ridge celebrates with eight families who have just returned from China after completing their recent placements. What a blessing! Two families travelled to Gansu province with Bob McNeill, adopting children through the Special Needs program. Six families traveled to Guangdong province with Bill adopting their children. Produced in March, 2008 with the help of Excel Media, the commercial aired on NBC-5 Chicago as part of the "Chicago Salutes" campaign, highlighting local organizations making a difference in the Chicago area community.
