Accreditation. In early 2008, Sunny Ridge Family Center was among the first agencies to be accredited as a Hague adoption service provider. Only those international adoption service providers who have been accredited will be able to provide adoption services for Hague adoption cases. The Hague Convention on Intercountry Adoption entered into force for the United States on April 1, 2008.

Sunny Ridge is also accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA). This accreditation places the adoption programs at Sunny Ridge in a very select group, having been closely studied and identified for meeting or exceeding standards of organizational strength, quality of service, and best practices in adoption. COA is the “seal of approval” for agencies today. We believe that all children deserve the high-quality services recognized by COA. Sunny Ridge was one of the earliest Intercountry Adoption agencies in the United States to become accredited by COA.
