Attend one of our free Information Meetings at Sunny Ridge and in the community—or make an appointment for a private consultation.Thoughtfully choose the country your child will come from, as well as the placing agency, if other than Sunny Ridge.Apply to the Sunny Ridge International Adoption Program. Included at this time is a $250 application fee.Home Study beginsApply to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (CIS) (Form I-600 A and supporting documents)Prepare DossierYour Home study and dossier is sent to country or placing agencyWait for referral to arrive. Accept referral of your childTravel to foreign country if necessary, to complete adoption.
2. Post placement services and re-adoption in your state of residence.
