Welcome! We are delighted that you have chosen to learn more about an adoption through Sunny Ridge Family Center. This section of our web site is designed to provide you with many answers you need to explore adoption, as well as some basic information about adoption at Sunny Ridge. 

In this section of our website we provide you with information regarding two major Sunny Ridge Family Center adoption programs: Domestic adoptions, which includes our African American program; and International, or intercountry adoptions.

NOTE concerning International Adoption: Today the climate of international adoption is most challenging, as many countries have slowed down, or ended their international adoption programs entirely.

Faced with these issues, Sunny Ridge has for the time being, suspended taking any new applications for international adoption. While this does not mean the end of international adoptions through Sunny Ridge, this will allow our agency to focus on the many families now in process. We remain committed to helping our current clients complete their international adoption.

Sunny Ridge will continue to assess the international adoption climate, hopeful that in the future, we can lift this suspension and welcome new applications again.
