Amy Trotter, LCSW
Executive Director of Programs
Amy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and holds a bachelor and master’s degree in social work. She received her master’s (MSW) degree from the University of Iowa. Since 1995 Amy has worked in the field of child welfare with experiences in foster care, adoption, and juvenile court. Amy joined Sunny Ridge in 2008. In addition to supervising program activities, Amy prepares families for adoption in both our international, special needs, and domestic programs. Amy also provides training and education to families, as well as post adoption services. |

Jessica Augsburger, MSW, LCSW 
China Waiting Child Coordinator
Jessica holds a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Hope College and a Master's Degree in Social Work from Dominican University. She is also a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Illinois. Since 2002, she has been working in the field of child welfare with experience in both foster care and adoption. Joining Sunny Ridge in 2005, Jessica conducts home studies for adoptive families, provides post placement services in the international program and currently coordinates the China Waiting Child Program. Jessica is also a certified W.I.S.E. Up facilitator. |

Peggy Earwood 
Adoption Administrative Support
Since 1986, Peggy has worked in a supportive role in all of the Sunny Ridge adoption programs. She currently works primarily in the agency’s China adoption program. Peggy coordinates many aspects of the documents required by the China Center Of Adoption Affairs, making sure that families’ dossiers meet all requirements. She assists families in understanding the document authentication process for all 50 states. Peggy manages critical details in the adoption process and has escorted four groups to China to complete their adoptions. Peggy also provides support to staff and clients in the Sunny Ridge Frozen Embryo program. |

Jim Erickson, MA, ACSW, LCSW
Director of Special Projects
Jim brings over 35 years of experience to Sunny Ridge as a professional social worker. He has held clinical and administrative positions in both the private and public sectors in agencies serving children, families, and adults in the mental health and child welfare field. Jim is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers (ACSW) and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Illinois. Jim received his Master of Arts degree from the University of Chicago, School of Social Service Administration and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. |

Roseanne King, MSW, LSW 
Supervisor of Birth Parent Services & Domestic Adoption
Roseanne holds a bachelor’s degree in Business/Economics from Spring Arbor College, a master’s degree in Social Welfare from UCLA and is a licensed social worker. She has many years of child welfare experience in the area of foster care and adoption. Joining Sunny Ridge in 2010, Roseanne conducts home studies for prospective adoptive parents, provides post adoption services, and counsels birth parents and their families. |

Liz Korose 
Adoption Administrative Support
Since 2000, Liz has provided administrative support for our international staff working with networking programs. She assists adoptive parents with their needs and interacts with their placing resources. Liz is involved with document preparation and tracking – keeping the process moving forward within the various timelines. Liz also provides support for various educational meeting opportunities throughout the year. |

Robert McNeill, M. Div. 
Adoption Worker
Bob Began his career at Sunny Ridge in June 1968 and has previously served as the Director of International Adoption Services. He now oversees the humanitarian aid service activity for the agency, maintaining and developing direct service relationships with provider countries and/or partnering organizations for the purpose of establishing new adoption porograms. Bob conducts home studies and provides post placement services for Sunny Ridge adoption programs. |

Pam Shepard, MSW, LCSW 
Supervisor of Parent Training and Adoption Counseling Services
Pam has worked in the child welfare field since 1996 with experience in foster care, domestic and international adoptions, and birthparent counseling. Prior to joining Sunny Ridge in January of 2011, Pam was employed as an Adoption Preservation Therapist, providing individual, family and group therapy. As Supervisor, Pam assists families with the pre and post educational aspects of adoption as well as adoption counseling for children and families. Pam has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Olivet Nazarene University and a Master’s of Social Work degree from Dominican University. She is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. |

Marie Slater, BS 
Adoption Administrative Support
Marie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from the University of Dayton and has Paralegal Certification from Roosevelt University. Marie has been on the Sunny Ridge staff since 1995. She is responsible for administrative services to birthparents and prospective adoptive parents. She also provides services to the Foster Care Program. |
